Leading finance super app GCash has partnered with the Municipality of Malay to advance cash-lite tourism in Boracay Island through the town's unified ticketing payment system, the eBoracay platform.
Tourists can now pay terminal, environmental, and boat fees starting with Tabon Port of Malay. The portal is powered by electronic payment and collection system provider, Surepay Technologies Inc. (SPTI).

GCash provides flexible cashless options including GCredit for extending travel budgets and GGives for installment payments up to 24 months at D-Mall.

Malay Mayor Frolibar Bautista noted that tourists no longer have to bring cash around and can easily pay in advance before their arrival on the island.
